I love to upcycle vintage dolls house furniture and miniatures, and then adding a small, paper mache critter. This piece was inspired by the tiny metal boots.

Full description
This miniature window seat (vintage dolls house furniture) has been given a worn coastal look using chalk paint and wax. The contemplative fox is paper mache, formed from florist wire, layers of gluey paper, and cotton wool; it has been primed, painted, and sealed with wax. Foxy’s tiny boots are metal counters for a well-known board game, refinished with gold paint. His book, ‘The Secret Life of the Fox’ is handmade. I’ve fashioned a little seat pad for him from cardboard and a scrap of cotton fabric.
