Available in several finishes and in two clay colours of white porcelain or black clay, the Medusa decorations are unusual, and are part of my 'Forgotten Goddesses' series of decorations and brooches. Mid winter was a very important time for pre-Christian cultures everywhere, and for those interested in the Goddess I am bringing them back as festive decorations, all year round house decorations, and also as brooches to wear all year round. The white porcelain versions are either just black and white, or more usually in Suffragette colours of Green, White and Violet, (Give Women Votes, its a winning combination!), and each is different from the last in how I combine the colours. The black versions are either plain black, or black and gold or black and silver. All are high fired and very durable, making a nice chime when they tap other decorations. Can be hung in a window, or in a tree, or tied close to a rear view mirror in a car for protection. More images of the different varieties to follow in a few days. These are large and measure 8cm x 8cm, (3" x 3"), and are correspondingly fairly heavy, compared to your average festive decoration. I post these out in recyclable cardboard and recycled paper, keeping the use of plastics to a bare minimum.
