I've been developing my teapot design for 18 months, working on size, handles, lid design and pouring quality. The handles are positioned so that the teapot is lifted and tilted to pour from its centre of gravity. The pour is smooth and non-drippy. The lid is carved to a fancy knob because I like doing them like that! This rustic, caramel glaze is cosy – is “hygge” still a thing? The mugs echo the teapot design with loopy handles. Each item is finished with my pansy motif.
