I love turning my own collected and vintage fabrics into baskets and also custom-make baskets in customers' own fabrics as well as teaching others to make them.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

This cream silk coiled basket is ideal for any room as the neutral colour won't clash. Sorry, the lighting has changed the colour somewhat in the pictures but I would be happy to supply more pictures if it would be helpful.
This basket would be useful for gathering makeup items, hair accessories or costume jewellery in a bedroom, or small bathroom items like extra soaps or cotton buds. It could hold keys in a hallway or all those annoying small items one collects in the kitchen (paperclips, rubberbands, etc!)
As a gift you could fill it with scented items for a new home gift, or with baby socks and useful extras for a new mum. You could even fill it with chocolates for total indulgence! It would be lovely for an unusual wedding gift or anniversary gift, too.
Made in vintage sari silk strips, the basket has a lovely texture. It is a one-off as I have no more of this fabric. Sorry contents are not included!
Postage listed is for UK mainland only, and I try to use recycled packaging when possible. Do ask if you would prefer new wrappings, say for a gift.
I teach basket making and can also make baskets like this in your own fabrics as long as they are suitable - ideally shirt/dress-weight silks or cotton.
