This bas relief plaster cast wall art is a plaque of Spanish bluebells cast directly into an embroidery frame and ready to hang.

I pick the fresh wildflowers through the spring and summer and cast them when fresh in fine plaster of Paris retaining so many beautiful features of the live plants.

Spanish bluebells differ from English ones! English bluebells (see separate listing) have flowers all on one side of the stem, which curves over as if weighed down by the flowers. Spanish bluebell flowers appear on both sides of the stem, giving it a more upright stance.

My plaques make lovely gifts as they won't clash with anyone's colour scheme! What about a gift for a friend moving house, or getting married? They are ideal for rooms with high humidity like bathrooms and kitchens, or for conservatories where the light would affect a painting.

Please note: I use recycled packaging whenever possible to cut waste and keep costs reasonable for buyers but do request new packaging if you would prefer. Now postage costs have increased, my p&p noted is only a contribution.
