Full description
Fused glass panel featuring a background of mountains fronted by a tranquil blue lake with a solitary wild flower in the foreground.
The panel has been created using two layers of streaky semi-opaque art glass to give a sense of depth, with the glass used for the water having a semi-matt finish. The piece has been decorated with coloured crushed art glass, stringers and murrini to build up the scene. Several kiln firings were required to achieve the smooth background and textured foreground foliage, which gives a pleasing tactile quality.
A lovely gift idea, or why not just treat yourself.
The panel measures 14cm x 8cm and is supplied with a clear acrylic stand, ready for displaying.
