Hi, I'm The Old Button - welcome to my shop and I hope you find lovely things that you would like to buy.
I post every day, using Royal Mail First Class for cards, and Track 24 for all other items, and I can post directly to the recipient - see my Upgrades listings. My processing times are currently 1-3 days for most of my makes, with a few taking longer as indicated in the item details.
In the busy run up to Christmas, I'm no longer taking commissions for my embroidered play scenes and my patchwork quilts, but I have gift voucher options for items to be made in the New Year. The last day for ordering my custom hand embroidered Christmas stockings and Child's Drawing Pictures is Monday 16th December. For all other items I will be open right up until Christmas week.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Great last minute gift idea - this is a voucher that can be used to buy one of my Play on the Go Play Scenes. Beautifully made with lots of machine and hand embroidered motifs in wool felt, my play scenes will keep any child amused for hours.
The smallest size in my range at 10 by 20 inches when open (25 by 50cm), my travel play scenes have a pocket for little toys and fold up neatly so are perfect for journeys or at home. The images show Safari Zoo, Farm, Outer Space and Under the Sea, I have many others including Castles, Mermaids, Pirates... and more.
Recommended play age is 3 to 7. However all my playmats are tested to EN71 toy standards as safe for any age, and are CE / UKCA marked.
I will send the voucher by email either to you, or directly to the recipient (parent or carer of the child) - providing all the information needed to choose a theme, together with contact details for queries. There is also an option for a message, and to have the voucher posted with a lovely printed card from my shop.
Once the voucher is redeemed, play scenes take up to 3 weeks to make. Tracked shipping to a UK address is included in the voucher.
