These handmade silver stud earrings have used the technique of keum boo to create the gorgeous appearance. Keum boo is an ancient Korean technique of applying a thin sheet of gold to silver. The earrings have been domed and are a stud fitting which is very comfortable to wear.
They have been handmade from sterling silver which has been reticulated to produce an uneven surface. Gold foil is then applied to the heated silver and pressure applied to it with a burnisher to make the gold adhere to the surface. The surface of the silver has been darkened and contrasts beautifully with the gold or you can select to have them left as silver and gold.
These would make a wonderful Christmas gift, anniversary gift or birthday gift and they will be delivered gift wrapped.
Earrings diameter is 14 mm.
Thank you for looking.
