These beautiful emerald drop earrings have been handmade from recycled sterling silver and slices of natural emerald gemstone.
The emeralds hang from small sterling silver flowers and are free to gently swing as they’re worn. The flowers are textured by hand and finished with a tiny silver granulation detail at the centre.
The flowers measure approximately 12 mm across, and the earrings have a total length of around 27 mm. The emerald slices are rose cut and freeform in shape, each measuring roughly 10 mm, which means every pair is slightly different and beautifully unique.
I love the rich green tones and natural swirls running through the emeralds, and the way they catch the light and move softly. On the reverse of each stone I’ve added a small silver swirl detail for an extra little surprise.
Emerald is the birthstone for May, so these earrings would make a lovely May birthday gift or a special present for anyone who loves natural gemstones and nature-inspired jewellery.
