Bats are often seen swooping over the river Cam - I had wanted for a while to use them in a mosaic, then inspiration came on a visit to the National Portrait Gallery in London, where I saw designs of a bat and an owl against the moon.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
A striking image of a bat flying against the moon, inspired by a mosaic on the floor at the National Portrait Gallery in London. I used matt ceramic Cinca tiles, from Portugal, set onto a recycled slate table mat. 30cm x 20cm (approx). The grout and tiles have been sealed, and can be scrubbed to remove stubborn stains (although red wine may be a bit harder to shift!)
