Full description
I made this plant pot holder after being inspired by the beautiful colours of the Aurora Borealis that I was lucky to see for the first time in October. This purple, green and red pot features a unique marbling pattern that represents the Northern Lights. I have mixed a small quantity of green biodegradable glitter in with the plaster, this has created a few subtle shimmery patches on the pot. This unique plant pot cube is crafted from a premium alpha plaster that is commonly used for marble restoration and repair. It has a smooth, luxurious finish, akin to marble, and is both water and weather-resistant. The beautiful marbling effect makes each pot a unique piece of art, making it an ideal gift for a special person or a lovely treat for yourself.
Carefully hand-polished with natural wax on the outside and sealed with a food-safe varnish inside, each flowerpot is a unique creation from my home studio. Embracing its individuality, the pot's imperfections, including air bubbles and colour variations, add to its charm.
Please note that this pot is designed without a drainage hole and is tailored for indoor use with a plastic nursery pot.
