Full description
I have handmade this necklace using eco-friendly silver metal clay. I designed and produced a bespoke texture plate of a hummingbird and branches, then created the pendant and bail using the metal clay and added flowers I cast in silver from a silicone mould. The reverse is also textured . After refining all elements I kiln fired the piece. The result is solid 999 fine silver. I then fused 24ct gold foil to the silver using an ancient Korean gilding technique called Keum boo.
The pendant is hallmarked on the reverse.
Creation of a bespoke template and then the addition of embellishments and gold foil by hand means this necklace is a one of a kind piece.

Silver metal clay is manufactured from 100% recycled scrap silver from medical, electronic, automotive and many other industries.
