Full description
This utterly adorable little elephant might be visiting us from an alien planet, or perhaps it has escaped from a particularly quirky book of fairytales! Regardless, it is now looking for a loving home. It has butterfly wings for ears and a wonderfully bright purple and turquoise colour scheme that will cheer up any nook or shelf.
The sculpture is made in my Primrose Hill studio using paper mache with bits of metal wire for a charming pair of antennae, and glass beads for eyes. It has then been coated with a sand effect acrylic medium for an interesting surface texture, and painted with highly pigmented, professional quality acrylic inks.
