Inspired by the rugged and wild forests and coastlines around England and Wales, I create simple, organic forms with earthy glazes.
More recently, my work has developed after finding a Victorian ‘pork pie’ inkwell on one of my walks with my scruffy lurcher Bertie. This small find motivated me to start exploring bottle forms on the wheel which I thoroughly enjoy throwing.

Full description
Mini-inkwell bud vase, wheel thrown in my small garden studio in Chester.
Made using a stoneware clay, glazed with "Solstice" from my own glaze range and fired to 1240c. These vessels are perfect for a loose stem.
Approximately 4.5-5cm tall with the base approximately 6-6.5cm in diameter. The opening is approximately 3-3.5cm wide.
I have photographed one and there are 5 available, there may be slight variations in glaze and forms due to the materials and handmade processes used. These add unique character and rustic charm to every piece.
Please read the ‘buying from me’ tab.
