Full description

Fine silver clam shell necklace. I have handmade this necklace using eco-friendly silver metal clay and a clam shell I found on a beach walk in North Yorkshire. I created a mould of the shell which I then cast with lump clay. After firing in a kiln, the result is solid 999 fine silver. The shape and surface texture are individual to the shell I've used in the creation of this piece, therefore creating my own bespoke design.

Description:

Handmade 999 fine silver clam shell

Sterling silver jump rings and 16'' chain

Clam shell dimensions: approx. 18mm x 15mm

Presented in an eco-friendly luxurious gift box, embossed in gold with my logo

Shipped Free of Charge within 3 days via Royal Mail Tracked 24hr Service

Silver metal clay is manufactured from 100% recycled scrap silver from medical, electronic, automotive and many other industries. What makes it a magical material to use is it's versatility and ease to texture and mould just like any other clay. After shaping, drying and firing the final result is solid hallmark quality silver.

If you like what you see and would like to create your own silver metal clay jewellery, please check out my shop for details of workshops I run.
