Turnpike completely evolved himself, as did his name. He was an idea rolling around in my head with the materials i had around me in my workroom. I had great fun bringing him alive and hope he goes to a loving new home, where I'm sure he would bring smiles and joy.

Meet 'Turnpike the Festive Turkey'. He's all dressed up and ready to adorn a splendid Christmas table and become the focal point of the special day.
Turnpike is handcrafted from a variety of fabrics and he sits on a solid base. He is a unique design, crafted from gray felt fabric, with features of orange felt feet, a yellow felt beak and crown, and green felt holly detail. His wattle and comb are bright red cotton fabric, adding a pop of color to its face. He has button eyes and red beads for holly berries. The tail feathers are made of colorful netting in vibrant shades of festive yellow and orange, with the back in black and white cotton. His reverse is white felt with thread detail for feathers. Turnpike is 22cm tall and 22cm at his widest.
Imagine him perched on your mantel or nestled among holiday greenery, adding a cheerful and unique charm to your Christmas decor. Turnpike would also make a completely unique surprise gift to the 'hard to buy for'. He is vegetarian and vegan friendly, even with his Turkey crown.
