I was inspired by the contrasting colours of the red Terracotta coloured clayy and the various greens used in painting on abstract shapes. Unglazed gives it a natural look.

Designed by Penarth Ceramics.Thrown in red terracotta clay, this unique hand painted candleholder suits 4 inch diameter church or pillar candle. With a heavy feel to it to support the weight of a tall large candle. It has a gallery for the candle to sit in. Hand painted with green abstract motifs, and un glazed to retain the natural feel of the fired clay.
