I was inspired by the MacKenzie-Childs homeware patterns, with their bright designs and chequerboard motifs to create this eye-catching hat.

Full description
I have designed and hand knit this wonderful brightly coloured hat from double knitting weight premium acrylic yarn, using fair isle techniques. The hat has a roll up brim, 2 colour rib, garter ridges and fair isle panels. There are decorative French knots and a knitted ball to complete the hat. It is knit mostly in the round, with only a small seam on the crown.
The hat has a circumference of 21.5" with approximately 2" of stretch. It has a brim depth of 6.25". It is a medium adult size hat.
I would recommend a hand wash in cool water.
