Full description
Two beautiful vintage metal buttons with enameled or painted detailing.
The larger button is round and has flowers and leaves painted or enameled (possibly cloisonne) in green and white, onto a domed brass gold metal base.
The smaller button is a rectanglar in shape and made from brassy gold metal. It has a geometric embossed pattern echoing the rectangle shape with a central raised motif. There are faint touches of blue paint highlighting
the pattern.
Both buttons have twisted wire loop shanks attached to the back, indicating that these may be early 20th Century.
The larger green and gold button is 2cm in diameter, the smaller gold with blue is 1cm tall.
These are from my own collection of old buttons. Some have been passed down to me by family members or gifted to me by friends, others I have sourced locally from antique and pre-loved stores. Each have been carefully sorted and cleaned, and carefully sewn to card tags to help protect them from damage
