NAVY BLUE & TURQUOISE MERINO WOOL, SARI SILK COWL
I blended some merino wool in turquoise blue together with some recycled sari silk which gives multicoloured flecks and a little sparkle. I then handspun this blend into a lightweight yarn and then I knitted this cowl or neckwarmer, adding some plain navy blue merino wool. I call it a kerchief cowl as it looks like a kerchief or neckerchief but it is joined at the back, so there is no uncomfortable bulk where ends would otherwise cross over.
Dimensions
The cowl measures 12" (30.5cm) from top centre to bottom centre. (my mannequin is quite small so the cowl may look larger than it really is. Please check this measurement.
Great for walking, hiking, cycling, riding or just for popping to the shop or on the school run on cool mornings.
