HANDSPUN KNITTED TRIANGULAR SHAWL OR WRAP
Measurements - It measures 45" (114cm) wide excluding the tassels and 20" (51cm) high from the centre top to the centre bottom.
This triangular shawl was knitted with my own handspun yarn. The main colour is a sage green and there are also shades of pink and blue. This is a lovely blend of merino wool and Tencel which is a fibre derived from cellulose, which looks, feels and drapes much like silk.
I knitted this triangular shaped shawl or wrap, using a diamond pattern and I added two tassels which add weight, helping the ends to stay in place.
This shawl is so cosy to wear, either in the traditional way with the point at the back tied at the front or secured with a shawl pin, or the 'on trend' way, with the point at the front. I think this would look stunning with a dress on a special occasion, or it would also look great with jeans and a jumper or jacket. A great accessory to throw on for cooler summer evenings or mornings or wintry days.
