Brighten those gloomy winter days with this warm and cheerful headband!
I handspun some beautifully soft Bluefaced Leicester wool fibre into a fairly thick yarn, then I dyed it in shades of golden yellow and pink. I then knitted this wide hairband, headband or earwarmer in a lattice stitch which gives a firm but stretchy fabric ideal for headbands. The edges gently roll under, giving a comfortable fit. Bluefaced Leicester is a British breed of sheep which gives a high quality, soft and smooth wool which is very wearable and not at all itchy.
The headband measures 3" (7cm) wide and the circumference is 20.5" (52cm) and will stretch easily to 22" (56cm).
This would be great for skiing. walking, riding, cycling or just as a stylish accessory to keep your ears warm and your hair tidy.
Please be aware that different screens can show colours differently.
