Inspired by the wood slice itself, I wanted to make the wood look like the home of this tawny owl by painting the background of her home darker.
I love owls and hearing the tawny owls in our garden at night. I love creating animal characters and unique Christmas tree decorations.

Hand painted wood slice Christmas tree decoration with a tawny owl character.
The owl is peering through the hole in the tree where she lives, deciding whether it’s time to get up yet.
I love making up animal characters from my imagination. This natural and rustic Christmas tree decoration that would also make a unique gift for owl and bird lovers.
Approx size: 9-10cm
Will be sent out within 3 days, wrapped in tissue paper and recyclable or compostable packaging.
