Approximate size 7cm width x 6cm height.
Entirely handmade and hand painted air dry clay seed pod/vessel exploring the impermanence of life and the beauty of rebirth.
I've incorporated many different textures on the surface of my ancient seed pod, making my little vessel super tactile! Hand painted in natural shades of green, and grey and black inspired by moss and lichen on stone. The glimpses of gold from inside represent the stirring of new life as it slowly cracks open the previously dormant pod.
