Sea Fossil Dish, Clay Pastel Trinket Bowl, Handmade Ceramic Vessel
Approximate size 7cm length x 6cm width x 2cm max height
If you are looking for a truly unique handmade ceramic gift to accent your beach house decor, look no further! My little fossil inspired shallow clay bowl is extremely tactile, with external impressions from real coral and ammonite fossils and little internal clay sea flora fronds!
After sculpting and drying, the dish was sealed and painted with matt acrylics using an oceanic palette. I highlighted the little fronds with a light dusting of antique gold mica powder to catch the light. I wanted both inside and outside to be equally beautiful so that it can be displayed two ways!
This little pastel trinket dish is perfect for keeping your rings/jewellery in or you could just simply display this clay organic form as a unique piece of art.
N.B. I specifically wanted a weathered matt effect, so this little dish is not waterproof. Light dusting with a soft brush only please!
