This drawing is loosely based on Celtic coins, and although first appeared as part of my Earth Spirit drawing, I thought it deserved to shine on its own too. The central figure is inspired by a horned god figure on the magnificent Gundestrup cauldron, a highly decorated vessel of silver found in Denmark in 1891, although it is believed to have been made elsewhere. It is over 2000 years old, and I was lucky enough to see it on display in Edinburgh in 2016 as part of the exhibition, The Celts.
It left quite an impression.

Full description
A black and white fine art print of my original pen drawing, The Horned God. Professionally printed on matt acid-free archival Hahnemuhle paper.
This is an A4 print measuring 21x30cm (8.5x12 inches approx) plus a 2.5cm (1 inch) border for mounting and framing.
This fine art print will arrive flat in a card backed envelope, packaged in a compostable cellophane sleeve on recyclable backing board.
It will be posted by Royal Mail first class Recorded Delivery and will require a signature.
