Full description
A gorgeous display piece for all doll collectors.
A lovely antique white baby dress (altered slightly to fit doll), featuring a broderie anglais front band, with attached ties, that fasten at the back. Long enough to tie into a bow if so wished - I’ve just left them hanging loose. The sleeve cuffs and high neckline are trimmed with narrow lace. The neckline is trimmed with a little diamanté sparkle.
The angel holds a bottle brush ‘JOY’ in red, with a dusting of artificial snow, threaded on to jute string, trimmed with a small homespun fabric tie. Her wings are made from twisted rusty wire, trimmed with a rusty star on one wing.
Please note there may be some rust transference on the back of the dress where the placement of the wings are.
Underneath the dress, the doll wears plain cotton bloomers.
She has Spanish moss curls topped off with a large bow, made from a dark red woollen fabric. The primitive style facial features are painted on.
