There are few signs in Glasgow quite so iconic as the Barrowlands sign. People love this venue and quite rightly - it consistently appears in top 10 music venues in Britain and is a fantastic place to see your favourite singer or band. It also has a huge nostalgic appeal to those who remember it as a ballroom where they might have got a 'lumber' at the dancin. I had to be patient to capture this dynamic photo as the letters light up one at a time and the complete set are only lit for a few seconds. Hopefully you agree my patience paid off!
