Full description
PRODUCT - 5 x 7in Greeting Card and Envelope - Printed on 250gsm white matt board with 100gsm envelope - Blank Inside - Available as a Birthday Card, Anniversary, Retirement, Single Plain Card or Pack of Six Plain Cards
PHOTOGRAPH - I took this photograph in August 2024 at a show in the Kent Downs.
HISTORY - The Citroen DS series was manufactured from 1955 to 1975 and is one of the most iconic design both for its looks as well as its engineering innovation. It was the first mass production cars that had hydropneumatic suspension, disc brakes , directional headlights and pre selector gearbox and was available as a saloon, estate car or a convertible; surprisingly it was also very competitive in world class rallying. It began as the DS19 with a 1911cc engine and continued with the DS20 1985cc, DS21 2175cc and finishing with the DS23 2347cc engine in 1975 (I don't know why there wasn't a DS22)
