PHOTOGRAPH

I took this photograph at a classic car event near Hook in September 2021

HISTORY.

The Range Rover was first produced in 1969, designed by Spen King and could be considered as being one of the first SUVs with four wheel drive, hydraulic disc brakes and a top speed of 100mph. It used a Buick 3.5 litre engine which found its way to many models with a mainly aluminium body to reduce the weight. In it's Classic form it was produced for over 27 years before being completely redesigned in 1994 and unbelievable it was only available as a three door until 1981 when the five door version was introduced.

(We photograph and design the illustrations we use on our products. Any trade marks, or names used are for descriptive purposes only and DO NOT imply any connection with the companies involved and we have no intention of impugning their brand.)
