During the last year some friends of ours lost their son and I wanted to mark that passing. I then thought this design may be something that appeals to others.

Full description
A thoughtful gift for someone who is bereaved at the loss of a loved one. This memorial stone design symbolises hearts floating up to heaven.
You can let me know the first name and I will hand carve it onto a slate block, just underneath the three hearts. The slate blocks are around 20 to 23mm thick and substantial enough to be free-standing. The natural slate can be used as an ornament, paperweight or for general display on a bookcase, desk, mantelpiece or window cill etc.
The slate is hand carved to form the shape of three hearts on the surface and then engraved with their name, if you choose that option. The three hearts shape will be given a red sparkle fill, providing a contrast to the slate.
Other colours: if you prefer a different colour to red sparkle, then please add your choice of colour for the hearts, to the 'notes' box on the order page or message me as you order. The default colour (if you don't make a new selection) is the red sparkle, shown on these images.
Care: please make sure you wipe clean or hand wash with warm water when required, rather than placing in a dishwasher or bowl of very hot water, to ensure it remains looking this good for many years to come. Suitable for indoor use.
