I was inspired to craft some different tree toppers for 2024 after searching through my quilting cottons for fabric to make a seasonal collage. It didn’t take long to decide I needed to source some smaller prints for these. I throughly enjoyed finding a number of suitable cotton prints, tulle and lace as well as ribbons, cords, beads and wings for this collection. I hope they bring you as much joy as I found creating them.
I make a body using florist wire, embroidery floss and a wooden bead, then I let myself be led by available fabrics and embellishments. Each fairy is unique and so even custom orders will vary slightly from the first piece viewed.

This handcrafted decorative fairy doll is suitable to use as a tree topper and is approximately 6 inches/ 15 centimetres.
Her dress features a 100% cotton skirt with a festive Christmas print of gold stars on a gorgeous green background and complemented by a metallic gold lace bodice. A matching cord around her waist ties in a beautiful bow at the back.
Beneath her dress, tulle petticoats add volume and charm. Her golden wings reflect the print of her dress. In her hand she carries her handcrafted wand which compliments the colours of her dress.
Her beautiful blonde hair is worn loose with waves flowing down her back and is adorned with a sweet crown of metallic lace.
The fairy is made on a florist wire frame and so can be gently posed to look her best in your home.
Though she is delicate, this beautiful fairy is designed to last for years with proper care.
She can be fixed to your Christmas tree with the cord at her waist or affix round her legs using the supplied cable tie. Alternatively she may be posed to sit gracefully on any flat surface.
Custom orders undertaken for dolls of assorted sizes, dresses and hair colour. I aim to dispatch these within 3 working days for a single doll and up to 5 working days for two.
This is a purely decorative item and not suitable for play. Do not give this to young children as wires and small parts used in construction may make it unsafe.
