Having searched through my stash of quilting wright cotton prints with a Christmas theme to make an item for a family member I was inspired to create some different tree toppers for 2024. I throughly enjoyed finding a number of suitable cotton prints, tulle and lace as well as ribbons, cords, beads and wings for this collection.
I make a body using florist wire, embroidery floss and a wooden bead, then I let myself be led by available fabrics and embellishments. Each fairy is unique and so even custom orders will vary slightly from the first piece viewed.

This handcrafted decorative fairy doll is approximately 7.5inches/ 18centimetres.
Her dress features a 100% cotton skirt with a festive Christmas print of gold swirls and red stars on a cream background, complemented by a metallic giold lace bodice. A matching ribbon around her waist ties in a beautiful bow at the back.
Beneath her dress, tulle petticoats add volume and charm. Her golden wings are to reflect the print of her dress. In her hand she carries her handcrafted wand which compliments the colours of her dress.
Her beautiful brown hair is worn simply tied at her nape to enhance her beautiful curls and is adorned with a sweet crown of metallic lace.
Though she is delicate, this beautiful fairy is designed to last for years with proper care.
She can be easily tied to your Christmas tree with the ribbon at her waist or with the supplied cable tie, or posed to sit gracefully on any flat surface.

Cutom orders undertaken for dolls of assorted sizes, dresses and hair colour. I am to dispatch these within 3 working days for a single doll and 5 working days for two.
This is a purely decorative item and not suitable for play. Do not give this to young children as wires and small parts used in construction may make it unsafe.
