This piece is part of my new autumn leaf collection and features leaves from a London Plain tree. I plan to create more from other species.

Full description
This mini, original botanical art is created in mosaic and features a red autumn leaf on a grey background. The colour palette is in shades of brick red to burnt orange. The body of the leaf is formed by tiny hand cut tile and the grey grout creates the veins.
It can be hung on the wall or be freestanding on a shelf with your favourite things.
I use beautiful Winckelmans tiles which are matt ceramic and come in soft muted tones. I hand cut each piece of tessera to create intricate images inspired by nature. The mosaic is mounted on a wooden canvas and the sides are part tiled to frame the plaque and give depth and is complete with hanging wire.
Dimensions: 11cm x 11cm x 2cm
Due to the wooden frame, this art is suitable for display indoors only.
Each wall plaque is one of a kind but I am able to make more in a similar design and colour palette on request. I am also open to commission, just contact me for a chat.
