Formerly 'Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch'.
My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, with sewing playing an occasional part.
Whether working in print or in stitch, I am inspired by the natural world and the people around me, with words/text frequently playing an integral part.
* I endeavour to represent my pieces as clearly and with colours as true to life as possible, however some slight variations in tone between the image on screen and the piece itself may occur.*
I love the shapes of traditional Christmas baubles.
This 2D wooden piece is my take on a classic decoration and would make a beautiful hand-crafted addition to any festive tree.

Full description
This 2D wooden bauble is made from birch, laser cut into a circular shaped decoration.
The front of the bauble features a lino print of my original hand-carved ‘Peace & Love’ design. It has been printed in a festive red oil-based ink onto a gold base layer, with my maker’s logo stamped in black on the reverse.
The bauble measures 9cm in diameter and features a lovely red velvet hanging ribbon.
