This item was made from a pice of wood found in a bag of offcuts sold for firewood. Tulipwood is otherwise known as American poplar and is a hardwood commonly used in the manufacture of furniture etc

Full description
This little box is turned on a lathe from a single piece of wood. It is ideal for keeping rings, other jewellery, coins and small trinkets etc. It was completed by sanding and the application of a wax polish to give a satin finish. The box measures 67mm high and is 56mm external diameter. Weight is 54g.
