Full description
Introducing my Joysofglass Fused Glass collection. All handcut by me, decorated and then fused in my kiln.
I have created an abstract picture of a Rockpool. I've used a base of streaky turquoise then another of iridescent turquoise. On top I've made a rockpool picture using frit, millefiori and nuggets topped with dichroic gass.
The added decoration of dichroic glass gives a luxurious shimmer.
Then into the kiln where it was fused all together to very high temperatures but not hot enough to make it completed flat, tac fused to leave the nuggets slightly pr
oud.
Then into a box frame so it can be displayed free standing or as a picture on the wall.
I've not included any glass in the frame as that always hides the colours of glass art like this. Instead the picture is set back within the frame.
Made from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated with a unique design.
The fused picture measures 12cm square and is fitted at the back of a box frame with a 19cm aperture, 22.5cm square frame.
The frame can hang from a hook from the wall or will freestand.
It will be sent smothered with loving care in bubble wrap
