Hello! I am a freelance artist & illustrator, whose work is created using a mixture of chalk pastel, pencil and coloured pencil. About this Heron Art print:
I created this drawing - "Heron at Fisher's Pond" - with chalk pastels and pencils on toned paper.
I was walking in the Woodland Gardens in Bushy Park (Richmond upon Thames), when I came across this peaceful and ethereal scene. I was particularly struck by the beautiful, shimmering light and the stillness of the patient heron, which was fishing by the pond.
Inspired by an impressionist way of working, I aimed to capture the light and atmosphere of the scene.
This is a gorgeous quality Fine Art professional inkjet Giclee Art Print on Hahnemuhle Photorag 308 gsm paper.
Signed, titled and numbered, the paper size is 420 x 297mm.
The print can be personalised - I can add "To...(person's name)" - please just let me know!
