Hand stamped spoons make great gifts: they last for years, they are plastic-free and upcycled, they are robust and easy to post, and they can be personalised to make them even more special.
I have spoons for all occasions and am always happy to work with you to make your dream spoon a reality, whether you're looking for something rude, funny, sentimental, quirky or downright strange... just get in touch and I'll see what I can do!
We always use a knackered old spoon to warm the brandy to flame the Xmas Pud... so I thought other people might like a special dedicated spoon for doing the same!

A handstamped vintage silver plated spoon with an art deco style handle and the words 'BRANDY FOR THE PUD' in the bowl. Use it to warm the brandy before flaming your pudding in the traditional manner. Or just to measure out brandy if you don't like pouring it straight out of the bottle.
I've tested a prototype with actual flaming brandy over an actual candle and the black water-based acrylic ink with which I've coloured the lettering stays put just fine.
This listing is for ONE spoon. You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. It's approximately 15.5cm long and will hold enough brandy to flame a four-person pudding. And yes, it's a vintage spoon... please read on...
Please note: your brandy spoon is an art deco spoon from the 1930s (the number on the back of the handle indicates the design was registered in 1937) so it has been around a bit and has character. (For 'character' read 'tarnish, pitting, plate loss, dents, scratches and suspicious-looking stains.') It's a survivor. If you were looking for a mirror-finished brand new spoon, this isn't one. Just so you know. It doesn't really matter, since you're planning to set fire to it anyway.
