I’m inspired by the sea and I love to be near it, in it or on it as much as possible. When I paint seascapes and coastal artwork I feel completely at peace. I feel as though I’m transported to the place I am painting, whether I have been there or not. In this case, I went to this beautiful part of Fuerteventura on holiday this summer with my family. I fell in love with the island and its coastline. I have a feeling I will be painting a lot more seascapes.
My spotty style is developing more and more, I find it easier to paint in this way due to my chronic pain and fatigue. This style allows me to fully immerse myself in my painting without being in as much pain. I hope the joy it brings me is shown in my paintings and I hope it brings others joy as well.

Full description
The Canary Islands have incredible landscapes and beautiful beaches. This is an aerial view of a beach on the south of the island. You can see the marshy looking area to one side and the sandy beach which also had a lot of rocky patches, followed by the stunning turquoise sparkling sea.
Painting on canvas board using acrylics.
Size: 30cm x 30cm
Can be tested against picture holder or stuck/mounted into a canvas floating frame. Will be sent out as it is in order for you to choose which option suits your needs and style.
