All jewellery listed here that says silver is sterling silver, I do not use silver plate at all. There will be elements of sterling silver in every design (except keyrings), some will be completely so, others may have combinations of copper, brass, bronze, glass, enamel, pewter, resin, upcycled biscuit tins and pre-decimal coins and/or semi-precious stones as well. Many of the designs are one-of-a-kind.
CLOSING FOR XMAS ON FRIDAY 13th DECEMBER when I will also stop NI postings altogether. RESUMING POSTINGS (except to NI,) on SATURDAY 28th DECEMBER

A 1946 bronze farthing with the hand-pierced outline of the wren on the reverse side. The piercing is done with a fine-bladed jewellers saw, it is NOT laser cut. 2cms across. Finished with a sterling silver chain, 16 or 18inch, you choose.
Despatched in a presentation box via the Royal Mail Signed For 2nd class service in the UK. Cleaning guide included.
Bronze is 95% copper, 4% tin, 1% zinc. It celebrated the 8th wedding anniversary in the traditional calendar and the 19th in the modern version.
FYI - The farthing was valued as a quarter of a penny. It was minted up to 1956 after many centuries of use and ceased to be legal tender at the end of 1960.
