I painted this painting when I returned from a holiday to the Canary Islands. I was completely taken in by the beauty of the coast where we stayed and the volcanic rocks and mountains. The whole island gave me a sense of peace and energy that I had been lacking prior to travelling.
I was inspired by the light on the surface of the water on calmer days in this painting, it literally sparkled.

Original Painting of the sea. Inspired by a recent family holiday to the Canary Islands and the incredible colours I saw in the sea and coastline.
Size: 20cm x 20cm canvas board (can be stuck into a canvas board frame, I can source this if required at additional cost or on a shelf as shown in 2nd image)
I have developed a loose and still abstract style with my acrylic paintings that not only express my feelings and emotions towards to the seas and ocean, but also one that is possible with my multiple neurological and pain limitations. I have built up resilience and ways of coping with pain, which include creating artwork of things that inspire me or I am passionate about. I also love sharing this with other art and natural world lovers. I have priced my artwork at reasonable and affordable prices, making them accessible to everyone and at sizes that make wonderful gifts, i.e. Christmas, Birthdays, Get Well and other special occasions.
I will regularly update my store with my original art. You will find a selection of artwork in a variety of mediums, all inspired by nature and wildlife. I particularly love to draw and paint animals especially, Birds. I will occasionally consider commissions of coastlines and animals in my unique style.
