Hello! Welcome to my Folksy Art Shop.
I am a UK based artist living in the West Midlands where I produce the original linocut prints and paintings. My work is inspired by all the lovely places I have travelled to and collected photo's and memories of over the years. Nature and landscape are 2 of my biggest inspirations.
I graduated from Birmingham Polytechnic in Graphic Design back in 1988 and have practised my art ever since. For a number of years I specialised in pen and ink drawings but over the past few years I have explored other media, and I'm always open to trying new materials and art forms.

I have based this imaginary scene on photo's I took during a holiday to Kintyre, Scotland. It is based loosely on photographs I took near Kilberry on the Argyll and Bute coast.

Full description
Can you see the visitor in the bottom right hand corner of this moonlit landscape? A deer peeps its head over the fence to glimpse the seashore.
This is an original mixed media drawing created using a mixture of dip pen and Indian and Acrylic Ink along with a mixture of Faber-Castell Pitt Artists Pen, Sakura Pigma Pen and Caran d'Ache Museum Aquarelle and Supracolour II watercolour pencils with a touch of Schmincke Horadam Gouache. The artwork has been created on stiff Watercolour Paper.
The artwork measures approx. 8 inches x 5.2 inches. It will come to you within a mount which I have cut myself. The mount measures approx 11.6 inches x 8.2 inches (A4 - landscape orientation) to fit a frame of this size.
It will come to you in a cellophane sleeve, wrapped in tissue paper and sandwiched between thick cardboard.
I will send the drawing by Royal Mail's 1st Class Signed for Service in the UK and International Signed For or Tracked for overseas.
Any additional items purchased at the same time will be sent at no extra cost.
