I salvaged these stunning semi-precious carnelian gemstone beads from a broken necklace. I noticed the variations in their colour and had the idea to string them in order of colour intensity. Their gorgeous vivid red and orange tones look stunning with gold so I teamed them up with some unloved gold-toned rings, some reclaimed charms and other beads and finished with new gold-plated clasps.
As I was styling them I remembered the spiky chain and studded chain waiting to find new homes and felt they’d complement each other perfectly. And so this layered stack of gorgeousness was complete!

This versatile layered necklace consists of 4 separate strands, crafted from salvaged jewellery plus reclaimed semi-precious carnelian gemstone beads.
Each strand can be worn separately or in any combination for a different look every day.
They can even be clipped together for one continuous strand to wear as longline necklace or wrapped for a choker effect.
Includes a handmade, upcycled gift pouch, which can be used to safely store your necklace, or be regifted to share the upcycled love!
All of my upcycled items are made from carefully selected, checked and cleaned source materials. I do my best to describe source materials accurately but I can’t guarantee that they are free of allergens, sharp edges etc. Please contact me if you have any queries.
I will package your items securely using recycled / reclaimed packaging materials, and finish with 100% recycled wrapping paper for a secure, sustainable and beautiful treat in your letterbox.
