Fireside Mittens Knitting Kit
Snuggly winter mittens worked in the round in WYS gorgeous Blue Faced Leicester DK weight yarn. A solid coloured yarn really shows off the twisted stitch leaf pattern in the cuff ribbing and the column of flower heads that go up the back of the mitten hand. A flower head flanked by purl stitches is also incorporated into the thumb. Each mitten is slightly different because of the thumb gusset placement and there are 3 sizes to choose from.
Yarn included in the kit:-
100 gram ball of West Yorkshire Spinners Fleece (Bluefaced Leicester DK)
Choice of yarn colours - Berry (as in the photo) or Brook (Teal). Please state at checking out which colour you prefer.
Gauge:- 26sts x 32 rows - 10cm using 3.5mm needles
Sizes - Small (Medium; Large)
To fit circumference:- 19 cm/7.5 in (21.5 cm/8.5 in: 24 cm/9.5 in).
Actual circumference:-18.5 cm/7.25 in (20 cm/8 in:23 cm/9 in)
Length from end of the cuff to end of mitt:- 16 cm/6.5 in (19.5 cm/7.5 in,19.5 cm/7.5 in)
Cuff length:- 6 cm/2.5 in (6 cm/2.5 in, 9 cm/3.5 in)
