My background is in Graphic Design and although I'm now retired I still enjoy the creative process. A lot of my work features birds and flowers and I particularly love combining different materials and patterns to create colourful, one-of-a-kind mixed media pieces.

Full description
A hand sewn textile picture of a tawny owl. A lovely original gift for a bird lover.
A section of upholstery fabric with a winter scene has been used as the backdrop and I've created the branch and owl using fabrics, acrylic paints, ink and embroidery threads.
I've made a matching tag in case you're sending it as a gift.
The artwork is presented in a good quality double mount. The outer measurements are 8 x 6 inches and the inside aperture is 3.75 x 5.75 inches. It is titled and signed on reverse.
