These earrings feature Tiger Ebony, or Tiger Kamagong, a dense, hard wood from the Philippines with a dark brown chocolate colour that has lighter shading in places.
I have also used good quality, natural Turquoise beads from the Hubei Province in China which produces colours reminiscent of the much-prized greens and blues of the now closed Nevada mines. They are un-dyed, stabilised, and a rich green-blue.
Turquoise is the traditional birthstone for December and Sagittarius, and the stone for the 11th anniversary.

Full description
Lightweight earrings, each featuring a dark brown Tiger Ebony wood 5x8mm rice bead, topped with a Hubei Province Turquoise 6mm rondelle, a 5mm Tiger Ebony round and a 4mm Hubei Province Turquoise round, all highlighted with tiny 3mm and 2mm pure copper spacers.
The beads are threaded on to copper pins and hung from copper ear-wires.
The natural wood sets off the blue-green colour of these genuine Turquoise beads, and both are complemented by the red-gold gleam of copper.
These would make a lovely handmade gift for an anniversary, December birthday, as a special 'thank you' or as a well earned treat for yourself.
Handcrafted (by me!) in my home workshop in Devon, UK.
These drop measure approximately 1.35 inches (3.5cm).
Your earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
