Autumn is my favourite time of the year..... Bonfires, crispy leaves and twigs snapping underfoot, the vibrant warm colours as leaves pirouette to the floor, candles and toasty blankets.
I love the cooler months, wrapping up in cardigans and big coats, walking with the dogs and returning home for hot baths and pajamas at 3pm!
Each decoration is unique as I don't paint many of these festive wood slices each year so once they've gone, they're gone.

"Toasted Marshmallows"
You've had a lovely walk in the wood and now as you camp out beneath the stars, toasting marshmallows on a campfire, looking out at the mountains, you remember why you love this time of year....
This decoration was created by hand painting the design onto a small wood slice before varnishing with gloss then finishing with a small wooden bead and a jute string to hang it with. The back of the wood slice is simply painted with a white paint which shimmers in the light. This side is also varnished with gloss.
The wood slice is approx 6.5cm in diameter and just under 1cm thick. The jute string is 8cm long from knot to wood slice, allowing for a deep drop.
This decoration would make a great addition to autumn decorations or may even be gifted to someone special for their home.
Due to the nature of the wood slice, I would not advise using in a humid environment such as laundry room or bathroom.
This decoration will be wrapped carefully using mostly recyclable materials before being sent in a small jiffy bag.
