Full description
'Starry Night' is a beautiful barn owl, created using watercolour paint, watercolour pencils and polychromo pencils on a gorgeous piece of reclaimed yew.
The reclaimed wood slice has been planed and treated for potential woodworm, before being lightly sanded by hand again to create the perfectly smooth surface to work on. After the artwork is complete, the wood has been given a light coating of a professional varnish to help protect and seal but without compromising the natural colour of the wood or giving any sheen.
'Starry Night' measures approximately 21.5x17.5cm at its widest points with a depth of 3cm. It will come with hooks and twine at the back, ready for hanging in your home, plus a sticker of 'authenticity'.
With the unusual wood shape, this makes a really striking piece of artwork for your home and the perfect gift for any owl lover.
