A gorgeous vintage fabric book, ready for you to add your own personal touches and covet as a keepsake.
The front cover is made from a gorgeous piece of vintage quilt, backed with a coordinating piece of vintage wool blanket. The raw front cover edges have been edged in blanket stitch.
Inside there are 5 pages of vintage French linen, for you to add either embroideries or appliqué pieces, or a place to store and record samples or memories.
Inside the front cover there is a page of vintage linen with attached lace, whilst the inside back page is a vintage square lace doily, folded up along the bottom, to create a pocket. The pocket comes with 2 cards, one wound with a handmade silk ribbon, and the other with some of my teeny Suffolk puffs.
Measures approx 19cm x 12cm
The whole book is bound with a piece vintage fabric taken from the same quilt.
Please note that all the fabrics are vintage or antique, and may show signs of wear, commensurate with their age, but only add charm to the finished piece. Please do not purchase if you like your vintage fabrics to be perfect.
